This laboratory is an ANSVSA authorized unit that is generally concerned with analysis of bodily fluids for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, has 3 basic departments everyone equiped with analisers for veterinary use only and called in-house diagnostics and all the tests performed are closely monitored and quality controlled:
1.        Biochemistry compartiment uses whole/heparinized/serum blood and urine samples from 3 basic species: canine, feline and equine, but has the ability of analising and has references range for another 20 species: bovine, ovine, avian, rodents, etc. and from measures 1 to 23-26 biochemical parameters, from the basic GLU, BUN,GGT, AST, ALT, TBIL, LIPA, AMYL,  to FRU, phenorbarbital and UPRO/UCREA from urine samples, etc. For biochemistry samples, blood is usually centrifuged and serum is separated (same vials may be used in the serology compartiment).
2. Hematology compartiment uses EDTA/Citrat whole blood samples to do full blood counts, coagulation time and blood films as well as many other specialised tests for 3 species canine, feline and equine (same vials may be used for serology testing).
3. Serology department uses the next types of technology:
       - micro-ELISA calitativ – in-vitro-  with SNAPshot Dx  reader and  BIOGAL immunoenzymathic assays, also some immunocromatographic serologic tests for testing infectious (dispemper, coronavirus, parvovirus, felv/fiv, pif) and parasitary desease (dirofilaria, borrelia, anaplasma, ehrlichia, giardia, toxoplasma, chlamydophila).
       - micro-ELISA semicantitativ in-vitro with SNAPshotDx reader on pancreatic specific lipase for dogs and cats, also for proBNP on cats cardiac arithmia
       - micro – ELISA cantitativ  in-vitro with SNAPshot DX reader, on Total T4 plasma/serum samples cats and dogs, Cortisol for dogs with serum only and Bile Acids also on serum from cats and dogs.

The macro – ELISA  classic methods and analysers are used only for detecting farm infectious or parasitic desea
