The GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS LABORATORY is an academic laboratory in the framework of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering, that encompasses the newest methods and technologies in GIS. Scientific and technical team of it consists of 3 academic staff: Associate Professor Doru MIHAI (PhD), eng. Alina RADUTU (PhD) and eng. Andreea CALUGARU (PhD), which have the main objectives: Training courses in modern tehnologies for GIS for BcS students, MS students and engineers; During the most recent six years, photogrammetry, remote sensing and mapping has provided the primary source data for GEOGRAPHICAL lNFORMATION  SYSTEMS.
