Plant & Environmental Biotechnology is a Research Facility part of the Faculty of Biotechnologies - UASVM Bucharest.
It is including two laboratories as follows:
The Plant Biotechnology Laboratory is actively involved in research areas, such as: Bioproducts for Agriculture including biofertilisers, biopesticides and biostimulants; Plant and Microbial Cell Culture; Extraction and Purification of Natural Compounds.
The Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory is actively involved in research areas, such as: Biofuels and Waste Valorization, Environmental Protection, Bioprocess Technology, Biocatalysts.
Our successful research activity is based on the experience of our research team, laboratory equipment, and also on the close collaboration with other laboratories from our university and abroad.
Obtained results are competitive on scientific market, and have wide-range applicability.
